Great poles, meh straps

The poles are great, love the colors and the fact they magnet together so it’s definitely easier to carry. They are stiff and great off piste. The magsafe straps on the other hand, pretty useless. I lost them the second day of use because the magnet that secures them is not strong enough, it actually made me quite sad. So no straps for me but otherwise I do enjoy the poles-maybe in the future if they design better straps I’ll be willing to pay for a replacement. But yard sale has GREAT customer service and offered a replacement.

Great poles for on and off piste!

I used these Yard sale poles for seven straight days at Wolf Creek. The grips have a good feel for gloves and mittens. The straps are easy to adjust and stay perfectly in place. Shafts are strong and light - I didn't bend them. On hard snow the tips grip well. I liked the shape of the baskets as I didn't catch them on my ski tops or edges. In powder (yes - we had 8 inches) they worked just fine with no problems. On piste they were excellent. I highly recommend them.

Top poles and great company!

We live in Switzerland, ski an lot and my daughter loves your Yardsale poles! She finds them very practical and the design is indeed magnetic (no pun intended) as lots of skiers comments on them.
The shipping problems (we are in Switzerland after all) were immediately resolved by the actual Yardsale owner.

Out of box review

I’m pretty stoked about these and their unique features. I do have to say that my first impression of the “double black” color way is that it’s definitely gray, not black. Going back to the photos here I can now see it’s pictured as more of a gray I just didn’t catch that before ordering. I was going for black to match my skis and ski boots, but fortunately my snow pants are gray so it still works. I don’t do a ton of powder skiing, but opted for the powder baskets because I just had to have the purple! Would LOVE to see the purple shaft in the set length options and not just the adjustable mini poles. Would also love the option of more colors of straps and purple resort baskets. Maybe as the brand grows there will be more color options added? I grabbed the mag straps and resort straps and am excited to try out the mag ones. I did see a couple recent reviews on the mag strap page where people said the magnet broke off. Hoping not to see that happen. The magnets in both the mag straps and in the poles/baskets aren’t as strong as I expected. We’ll see how it goes when I finally get to test them on the slopes!!

P1 resort poles

I ordered these for my wife and she absolutely loved them. She had an issue with a major brand name where one of the baskets kept falling off. These poles solved that issue by being interchangeable and also having a little screw to hold the basket in place. We had a minor issue with one of the handles not completely locking in place, so I reached out to the customer service team. Despite ordering them in early November, Kelly was able to send a replacement pair of handles right away. The customer service was exceptional and even being in one of the peak seasons for skiing and retail, Kelly was always super fast in responding to my questions. I’ll be supporting this business moving forward, excellent product, excellent customer service, friendly staff, easy ordering.
